We've done some research and this high DPI/scaling/font issue is a known Windows 8/10 problem. Turns out Windows has poor support for high DPI applications (Java in particular). Apparently, Mac OS X has prepared for this in the last several years, and as a result, has much better support for it.

Unfortunately, it would require a substantial amount of work for our developers to actually make this work on our end, in our program, so we've relied on workarounds for the time being.

On Windows 10, under Display Settings, change the Scale and Layout to 100% from the default 200%, and this should fix your problem. If you find a workaround for other operating system, please let us know.
